Hi, I’m Hannah, the mom behind This Body Is Worthy.
I was born in Cape Coral, Florida, and eventually made my way to Orlando to work at the theme parks. Orlando became home in more ways than one. It is where I built my adult life, where I continued growing into the person I wanted to be, and where I now get to raise my family.
I married my high school sweetheart, James, and in July 2026 we welcomed our son. Becoming a mom changed just about everything, including the way I saw my own body. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life brought changes I expected and plenty I did not. Stretch marks, weight changes, a softer body, and all the little differences that come with motherhood suddenly felt very real.
Instead of pretending those changes did not bother me, I decided I wanted to document them.
This Body Is Worthy grew from that decision. I wanted a place where I could be honest about postpartum body image, share the changes I was experiencing, and learn to celebrate my body for what it had done rather than criticize it for not looking exactly the way it did before pregnancy.
Outside of being a wife and mom, I also have a degree in nursing and work at a children’s hospital. Caring for children and families has shaped the way I think about bodies, health, strength, and vulnerability. It has also reminded me that bodies are so much more than how they look.
My hope is that this site becomes a place where other moms can feel that too. A place to see real postpartum bodies, read honest stories, and remember that stretch marks, scars, weight changes, loose skin, and everything else that can come with motherhood do not make a body less beautiful or less worthy.
I am still learning to appreciate my own changing body, and I do not pretend to have it all figured out. But I do know this: becoming a mother did not make my body something I needed to hide.
It gave me a new story to tell.
And this body is worthy.
